Craftsmanship—do what you love & do it well

Over eight weeks you will learn how to make your own pottery from start to finish. We will teach you how to:

  • Clay: prepare & wedge your clay

  • Throw: centre & throw Japanese ‘off the hump’ method pottery

  • Make: create bowls & cups

  • Decorate: Trim, decorate & glaze your pots

Embrace your creative side using our speckled mid fire clay & huge selection of glazes. You can also practice throwing outside of class during our weekly studio sessions.

Please note:

Students must choose one class. There is no swapping between classes through the term.

The price includes all clay, in-house glazes, studio equipment and tools used during each class. Please note—there is a seperate fee for all work we fire in our kilns. The firing fee is $10 per kilo (roughly 5 small pots), payable when you collect your finished work.
