We believe that craftsmanship is doing what you love and doing it well,

which is why our teaching practice is just as important as our art practice. All our students are taught how to prepare clay and throw using the same techniques used by professional potters. 

We know a solid foundation is important. And we guide students to develop their skills so they can practice their art with confidence, and most importantly, grow to become independent potters.

Over eighty regular students walk through our doors each week, and heaps of fresh new faces pop by to say hi all the time—we are a relaxed happy bunch with more students than ever coming back each term to learn with us. And we're still growing! We have big plans for 2024 as we work with new friends to deliver an exciting program for the Northern Rivers—with new courses and workshops, including a bigger and better term program.
