Pots must be collected within one week of firing date. Work held at BSOC beyond this time will incur a storage fee of $3 per kg per week. We can only hold on to your work for a maximum of 3 weeks after the firing date. Work that is not collected after this time will be disposed of.
We are a small and busy studio so this is the only way we can offer this important service. Thanks for understanding!
All work must be free from glaze on the base. Any work with glaze on the base must be cleaned by you and will not be fired if glaze remains. Please double check your pieces before dropping them off.
All work must have a visible mark for identification - Initials or your stamp.
Please note: We take all possible care with the work that comes into our studio, but there is always an element of risk with ceramics. We take no responsibility for damaged or broken work in the studio.
It is the student’s responsibility to know the firing temperature of their clay and glazes. Any damaged kiln shelves as a result of glaze melt or incorrect clay or glaze being submitted for firing will incur a fee of $40 upwards.
