Craftsmanship — do what you love & do it well

Over five weeks we will teach you how to use the pottery wheel to make your own ceramics. You will also learn how to:

  • Clay: prepare & wedge your clay

  • Throw: centre & throw off the wheel-head

  • Make: create bowls & cups

  • Decorate: Trim & glaze your pots

Embrace your creative side using our speckled mid fire clay. You can also practice throwing outside of class during our weekly studio sessions.

Please note

If you are unable to attend the glazing session we will glaze your work for you with our in-house clear glaze.

The course fee includes all clay, in-house glazes, studio equipment and tools used in each class. There is a separate fee for all work we fire in our kilns. The firing fee is $12 per kilo (roughly 5 small pots), payable when you collect your finished work.
