Learn how to make hand built pottery with an eight week course. Suitable for beginners with some or no hand building experience.

A meditative & highly rewarding experience

Together, all our students have the chance to embrace craftsmanship and creativity—to make their own unique, sustainable ceramics.

In this course we cover:

  • Common hand building techniques

  • Slips & glazes

Students will also have the opportunity to design & work on their own personal projects.

Students can also use the studio outside of class hours. Learn more about this here. In Term three, all continuing BSOC students will have four free hours to use during open studio sessions.
